My Story

code, trail, water

I'm a software engineer passionate about exploration—in code and life. Born in Russia and raised in Germany since age six, I studied mechatronics before initially joining a big corporation. Driven by independence, I ventured into freelancing and later founded my own company, embracing the entrepreneurial spirit despite challenges. Currently, I work as a software developer at doinstruct.

Outside the digital realm, you'll find me pushing through ultramarathons, free diving, or transforming a van into a camper for adventures with my wife Vika and our cats. Through it all, I carry the same mindset: patience, persistence, and continuous improvement. This website shares my journey, connects me with like-minded adventurers, and documents personal and professional growth.

Life Philosophy

I believe in living a balanced life that embraces both technology and nature, challenge and rest, solitude and community. Some principles that guide me:

  • 01Continuous improvement over perfection
  • 02Experiences over possessions
  • 03Curiosity as a lifelong practice
  • 04Finding joy in the journey, not just the destination
  • 05Making time for both deep work and deep play

These values inform how I approach my career, my hobbies, and my relationships. I'm always seeking to learn, grow, and connect with others who share similar interests or can introduce me to new ones.
